Ending our phone calls with an “I love you” is commonplace at my house. Whether headed out the door for work or their return to college, my children were sure to hear the words.
While away I wanted to include a tangible, if not audible, confirmation of my love since I could not (or should not) call them daily. I painted one of these whimsical 5-inch paintings for each. Probably not an original idea, but you get the picture.
