Grocery warehouse sells for $3.5 million

The past week included the end of November, in which 5,698 documents were recorded. Trust Deeds made up 1,259 of the total and Warranty Deeds accounted for 880 of the documents.

Last week we recorded 1,460 documents with 329 being loans having a combined value of $192.2 million. Nine of the loans were for more than a million dollars, and five were over $10 million. One company, Walker & Dunlop LLC, funded four of the largest loans.

Property sales accounted for 223 of the total deeds which had a value of $86.4 million. There were two commercial property transfers of over a million dollars — Fortress Corporation sold the warehouse located at 133 N Broadway to White Stores LLC for $3.5 million. (This building’s roof is what you see when driving on North Broadway).

The second property over a million dollars to change hands last week is located at 201 Gore Rd., a block behind Buddy’s in the Bearden area. Blackhorse Capital Partners sold the 3.14- acre property to Lyons Creek Land Partners for 4.5 million dollars.
