Not a new business, so to speak, but Ancient Lore Village is introducing a new monthly business networking series, The Village Business Collective, designed to bring Knoxville’s professional community together in a more intentional and engaging way.

The Village Business Collective will debut on Tuesday, June 23, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Village Gardens.

The event is positioned as “not your typical networking,” offering a curated experience that combines meaningful connection, light structure, and a brief leadership-focused talk.

Attendees will enjoy coffee and pastries while participating in guided networking designed to encourage authentic conversation and new connections. The inaugural event will feature guest speaker Justin Martinez, owner and founder of Connecting Knox, who will share insights on the importance of follow-up in both business and personal relationships.

“The Village Business Collective is about creating space for people to connect in a way that feels more natural and valuable than traditional networking,” said Ancient Lore Village Vice President of Brand and Business Development Micah Spicer. “We want to bring together Knoxville’s business community, while also giving them the opportunity to experience the Village as a setting for their own corporate events and gatherings.”

The cost to attend is $12 per person, which includes refreshments and entry into a giveaway for brunch or lunch for two, plus an archery or axe-throwing experience at the Village.

The event is open to members of local chambers, professional and networking organizations, and the broader business community. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore the property following the event. Registration is required, and space is limited.
