Laura Beth Wells is Patsy Cline on the Clarence Brown Theatre stage through May 15. The West Knox native graduated from UT and holds a master’s of fine arts from Kent State. Box office 865-974-5161.

Suzanne Jack (center) is at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church where “The Promise of the Heart” exhibition is open through June 7. Gallery hours are Mondays, 10- 4; Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10-3; and by appointment at 865-523-4176 x101.

Seth Knisley of F3 Knoxville – Fitness. Fellowship. Faith. donated a 5×8 American flag for Carl Cowan Park. The group meets and works out there three times a week and wanted to show their appreciation to the park. Pictured are: Mike Holcomb, Seth Knisley and Tommy Conaway.

Beaver Creek Kayak Club met May 2 to discuss volunteers for the May 14 Flotilla on Beaver Creek. Charlie Austin said more than 400 have registered to float and more volunteers are needed to keep everyone safe. Sign up on Facebook at Beaver Creek Kayak Club.
