Light the Park runs through January 2

Sandra ClarkFarragut, Our Town Neighbors

Light the Park is underway in Farragut with Campbell Station Road illuminated by thousands of sparkling lights. The display begins at the commuter lot next to the town of Farragut welcome sign on N. Campbell Station Road and continues to Founders Park at Campbell Station, the Farragut Community Center and Mayor Ralph McGill Plaza at the Campbell Station Inn. Lights come on every evening at dusk through Monday, Jan. 2.

Additional parking is available at the Farragut Community Center (239 Jamestowne Blvd.) and the plaza at the corner of Kingston Pike and Campbell Station Road. Restrooms at Founders Park and the plaza will stay open until 10 p.m., except for Dec. 25, when restrooms are closed.

During Light the Park, there will be gift giveaways from local vendors and organizations and live entertainment most evenings through Dec. 23. Local food trucks will serve up holiday cheer through Jan. 2. A calendar detailing all activities can be found at farragutparksandrec.org/lightthepark.
