Lee Warren is the new head football coach for Karns High School. He replaces Brad Taylor who resigned. Warren has been the defensive coordinator for the Beavers for the past three seasons.

“Coach Warren brings a wide range of experience from his time as a football coach,” said athletics director Ben Collins. “He is ready for this opportunity.”

Warren is a business education teacher at Karns High School; his wife, Maddie Warren, is a teacher at Hardin Valley Academy.

Lee Warren has served on the staff at the University of Tennessee as the student manager of the defensive line, and Hardin Valley Academy as a secondary and strength coach. Warren continued his career at Central High School as secondary and head strength and conditioning coach for the 2019 5A state championship team.

He joined Karns Football in 2020 as defensive coordinator and head strength and conditioning coach. Warren helped former coach Taylor lead the Beavers to their two best seasons in school history.

“I would like to thank the administration for this incredible opportunity. I would also like to thank Brad Taylor for everything he has done for me and this program over the past several years. I’m extremely passionate about these kids, this school and the community. I am incredibly honored and humbled to be the head football coach at Karns High School. This is my home and my second family, and I am excited to work my tail off for them,” Warren said.
