Knox the Fox has been out of the country on mission trips in recent weeks, but this past week he snuck in on a ministry conference trip to Orlando where Stephen and Kristen Weigel, with their ministry team, provided all the production work and worship for the trip.

Stephen and Kristen Weigel at Sea World

The team stayed at the Sea World Hilton Hotel Orlando which according to Kristen, had great amenities, “They have a restaurant with a fantastic breakfast bar and a really good lunch and dinner plus a market with sandwiches, pizza, wings, drinks, and Starbucks, staying open until midnight. They also had a candy and ice cream shop. There is a family pool with jacuzzi, a regular pool with waterfall, and outdoor games with a mini putt-putt.”

Hearing all that, I am not sure I could have left the hotel.

After their inspiring week of ministry, several of the team spent the day at SeaWorld, a 10-minute walk from the hotel room. Despite the 108 feels-like temperature, they saw everything offered: dolphin show, sea lion show, manatees, flamingos, sting rays, beluga whales, killer whales, tropical fish, and sea turtles.

Kristen says, “My favorite things were feeding the stingrays, watching the manatees eat and seeing the killer whales.”

Is the lego character flirting with Knox the Fox?

The team dined with sharks even though they had purchased the dine all day ticket which is an amazing special deal including a 1-day ticket with the dine all day package for less than $100. Purchasers could eat every 90 minutes with the dine all day. Kristen said it paid for itself with 2 meals.

The group also went window shopping in Disney Springs and to eat dinner at Paddle Fish. The Lego store is at Disney Springs and was a favorite stop.

I am sure for a small fee and a packed suitcase, Stephen and Kristen Weigel would make excellent tour guides with Knox the Fox as a tag-a-long extra, of course.
