As gardening season kicks off, several Knox County Master Gardener events are scheduled for February and March.

Master Gardener Cid Letsinger will answer garden and plant questions at the Norwood Branch Library on Mar. 21, 10 a.m. – noon. The library is located at 1110 Merchant Dr.

A Weed Wrangle will be held Feb. 28 at Collier Preserve from 12:30 – 4 p.m. Tools will be provided. Meet at the Powell Branch Library, next to Collier Preserve, at 316 W. Emory Road.

On Mar. 21, 9-10:30, at Collier Preserve, Extension Agent Lee Rumble will lead a Guided Tree Walk. It is free, but registration is requested at https://bit.ly/CPTreeWalk

Another Ask a Master Gardener event will be held on Feb. 28, Mar. 14, and Mar. 28 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Harden Valley Pavilion Winter Farmers Market,, at 2620 Willow Point Way.

A Seed Swap will be held at Beardsley Community Farm on Saturday, Feb. 28, 3-5 p.m. Master gardeners will staff a table to answer questions about seed starting and gardening. Beardsley is located at 1741 Reynolds St.
