Prayer in (some) schools: Each year the AP chemistry students from the previous year come back to Christian Academy of Knoxville to pray over the students who are about to take their AP exam. Last week, CAK seniors from last year returned to share words of encouragement and pray with the current AP chemistry students. This tradition was started by several AP chemistry students years ago and is such a meaningful event for current students. #GoWarriors #APChemistry

Halls Middle school is holding an 8th grade award and fun day event on Friday, May 20, for all rising 9th graders. This event will allow the kids to enjoy their last day as middle schoolers by celebrating with outdoor activities and food, said Erica Huiting, a agent with Keller Williams Realty who is coordinating the event. “The line-up of fun includes a bounce house, selfie station, corn hole, kickball and food from area restaurant(s). The PTA is still in need of sponsors for drinks (soda & water), plates and napkins as well as monetary donations to help offset the cost.
