The Knoxville Fire Department (KFD) held a badge-pinning promotions ceremony on September 8, 2023, at the Public Safety Complex in the Knoxville City Court at 1650 Huron St.
Fire Capt. Victoria Cheesman was promoted to assistant chief. She is a 25-year veteran of the department, according to Asst. Chief Mark Wilbanks, KFD’s Health, Safety and Communications officer.

To Fire Officer: Chad Pickens, Adam Pittman, Andrew Smith and Russell Pickel.
To Master Firefighter: Caleb Beckner, Chad Haynes, Chris Justice, Steve McKinney, Casey Reed, Thomas Sawyer and Andrew Shockley.
