Coach Greg Gray with KRYS wrestling just attended the AAU Youth Wrestling Region 1 wrestling coaches meeting and he is excited! AAU Region 1 (our region) has grown to be the largest youth wrestling region in the state! There are now separate tournaments for beginners and advanced wrestlers. There is even a separate state tournament just for beginners (1st and 2nd year wrestlers only). And the opportunities for the girls is also growing exponentially. Girls now have a separate division all the way from 1st grade through 8th. It’s an exciting time to be part of this rapidly growing sport.
