A local Powell business is preparing to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
Jubilee Banquet Facility opened Aug. 3, 2007, on Callahan Drive. The business is owned by Sharon and Robert Morton. Their daughter, Allison, is the event coordinator.
Allison Morton said: “We have been very fortunate to meet so many great people and host so many wonderful events in our 10 years. When we opened Jubilee we never imagined all the different types of events we would host or the awesome friends we would make along the way.
“From our opening day events to the thousands of social and corporate events we have done since we have continued to thrive and love hosting Knoxville’s special occasions! It has been a true blessing to have this business and we look forward to many more years and many more events!”
