Pellissippi State Community College has a 16-page online catalog of interesting/informative/just flat fun classes for spring 2024. What a neat idea to sign up for yourself and also gift a spouse or friend. Stop reading now and just click this link.

PSCC has rebranded the program, now called Lifelong Learning. That’s a new name for non-credit classes. There’s a nominal fee and no credit, but you’ll explore:

  • Creative arts including handmade arts, industrial arts and technology, music, print and digital media;
  • Lifestyle: Computer skills, financial & medical planning, handgun & personal safety, health & wellness, and language;
  • Youth programs: Camps, plus teacher education and resources;
  • Motorcycles;
  • Professional development: Business & industry training through the Tennessee Small Business Development Center.

Classes are in-person, via Zoom or hybrid (optional attendance or Zoom).

Got a hankering to learn genealogy research?

Learn to be a beekeeper, a cheese connoisseur (or at least how to say them) or take Homeschooling 101 ($25 fee or $40/couple for one 2-hour course)

Learn to play pickleball or communicate in American Sign Language. Study yoga or line dancing.

Or explore the multi-levels of handgun classes. A graduate just might qualify for a shootout at the O.K. Corral. Here’s that link again.

Lifelong learning is open to all people 18 and older. Info: www.pstcc.edu/WCD or 865-539-7167.
