It’s almost December. Here’s a bit of what’s happening:

WIVK Christmas Parade Friday, Dec. 2, 7 p.m., Gay Street.

Regal Celebration of Lights – Underway, Market Square, Krutch Park Extension and Market Street. Free. Walking tour.

Tour de Lights – Saturday, Dec. 10, from Suttree Landing to Market Square. This all-ages holiday bicycle ride, presented by Bike Walk Knoxville and Visit Knoxville, will begin at Suttree Landing Park and end at Market Square.

Nativity Pageant – Dec. 10-11-12 – Civic Coliseum – Free

Zoo Lights at Zoo Knoxville – Dec. 7-11 / Dec. 14-18 / Dec. 21-23 / Dec. 28 – Jan. 1 / Jan. 4-8. Prices start at $24 with discounts for Zoo members and kids.

Holidays on Ice – Ice skating on Market Square – Underway now – check for dates and times – Prices start at $24 with a discount for kids, plus season passes.

Comcast Christmas at Chilhowee – Free, 6-9 p.m. drive through, rain or shine.

New Year’s Eve at the Sunsphere, Saturday, Dec. 31, World’s Fair Park. Ring in the New Year with a fun, all-ages celebration on World’s Fair Park with a DJ, live band and ball drop at midnight.

Jubilee Community Arts

Jubilee Community Arts presents John McCutcheon at the Laurel Theater at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. He was the first music director of Jubilee Community Arts. He contributed a chapter to the Cumberland Avenue Revisited anthology edited by Jack Rentfro. Tickets/reservations available at Eventbrite, see https://www.jubileearts.org/
