Hidden Hero Award launched by Farragut Rotary

The Rotary Club of Farragut has announced the creation of the Hidden Hero Award to recognize unsung heroes in our Knox County community who go out of their way to help others.

Anyone may nominate an individual for the Hidden Hero Award. Nominees must live, work or render service in Knox County and demonstrate a strong commitment to service to others. Nominees do not have to be a member of Rotary.

“The Hidden Hero Award is our way to honor individuals in our community who exemplify the Rotary motto of Service Above Self,” said Scott Bertini, president of the Rotary Club of Farragut.

Requirements: Knox County resident: no age limit

Deadline for the first Hidden Hero Award: September 22, 2024

Winner: announcement of the first award winner in November.
