Shop Farragut in partnership with the town of Farragut will host the third Farragut Health & Wellness Expo, presented by Turkey Creek Medical Center/Tennova. It will feature over two dozen local businesses that specialize in the care of the human body, mind and spirit. They provide products and services for your comfort and well-being in support of a healthy lifestyle.
The Expo will take place on Saturday, January 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Farragut Community Center, 239 Jamestowne Blvd. just north of Village Green Shopping Center and Planet Fitness on Campbell Station Road.
This special event is free to the public. Parking is available at the Farragut Community Center, 239 Jamestowne Blvd. and close by at Village Green Shopping Center.
35 North is nonresponsive
35 North, an upscale restaurant at the corner of Kingston Pike and Campbell Station Road has apparently closed. We could not confirm this with the owners because the phone goes unanswered. Here’s the story we published in 2020 when the venture (which started as a site for food trucks) launched.

The Authors Guild of Tennessee will meet Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church in Farragut. Social time and book exchange begins at 10:30. Published authors are invited to attend. AGT is now accepting applications for associate membership from authors who have written a book but are not yet published. Serious authors only. Pickleball open gym is noon to 2 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 4-6 p.m. on Thursdays. Cost is $4. No need to register, just bring a paddle and a ball.
Basketball open gym takes place from 2-9 p.m. on Mondays; 4-5 p.m. on Tuesdays; 2-5 p.m. on Wednesdays; 4-5 p.m. on Thursdays and 2-4:45 p.m. on Fridays. Cost is $4 per person per session. Bring a ball.
