Get Out & Play: National Dog Park Day

National Dog Park Day is Saturday, May 5. To celebrate, PetSafe is hosting the 2018 Bark for Your Park at Petsafe Village Dog Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Members of the community are invited to bring their pups along to enjoy free product, giveaways, promotional items and much more.

Wherever you are this weekend, get out and play with your furry friend at any of the 11 dog parks in Knoxville and the surrounding area. Here’s a glimpse at a few of our favorites.

PetSafe Charter Doyle Dog Park: The park provides individual areas for large and small dogs, mature cedar trees for shade, and a dog water fountain for a refreshing drink. Your pup can also enjoy an on-leash walk along the paved loop trail along the main section of the park or take a short hike through the woods on the Mildred Doyle Nature Trail.

PetSafe Concord Dog Park: Beautifully laid out on almost four acres, dogs can frolic in the water fountains, or take a dive from the dock into the river. And don’t worry about loading up your dirty dog – this dog park even features a dog shower!

PetSafe Holston River Dog Park: A beautiful one-acre dog park provides owners with the option of releasing their dogs within either a fenced-in large or small dog section. There is a human water fountain with a dog-level water bowl and spout.  Leashed pups can enjoy a stroll on the beautiful Holston Park greenway and nature trail that circles the main part of the Holston River Park.

PetSafe Tommy Schumpert Dog Park: This thoughtfully designed park has two separate dog areas, one specifically for smaller dogs and another open to dogs of all sizes. The “all sizes” dog area has a lovely, mulched walking trail and a large pond with a dock so your dogs can go for a swim to cool off!
