Grace Christian Academy celebrates Cheyenne Crass and Grace Thompson, who earned their General Industry Safety and Health Certificate through GCA’s new partnership with the Tennessee College of Applied Technology.
Cheyenne and Grace are the first GCA students to participate in the Tennessee College of Applied Technology dual enrollment program and the first to earn this certification.
Through its partnership with TCAT, GCA now offers dual-enrollment pathways in Collision Repair and Cosmetology, providing students with hands-on, career-focused training while still in high school. These programs equip students with real-world skills, industry credentials, and a competitive advantage as they prepare for life beyond graduation.
This OSHA-authorized certification provides foundational workplace safety training and is a required credential for students pursuing a cosmetology career.
The achievement of these two students represents a meaningful step forward in expanding Career and Technical Education opportunities at Grace Christian Academy.
Grace Christian Academy offers an academically challenging and distinctly Christian education for students in PreK-12th grade, featuring a diverse range of arts and athletics programs for each season.
