Denna Grogan came within one point of a perfect prediction in this week’s KnoxTNToday Game Ball.
Tennessee defeated Auburn 24-14 on Saturday, and Grogan predicted a 24-13 Tennessee victory — getting the Vols’ score exactly right and missing Auburn’s total by only one point.
That makes Grogan this week’s Game Ball winner and earns her a Dinner for Two at Aubrey’s.
Beat the Writers
Grogan also beat the closest KnoxTNToday writer. Thomas Mabry predicted Tennessee 24, Auburn 16, finishing two points from the final score. Grogan’s one-point miss keeps the readers unbeaten in Beat the Writers.
