It doesn’t get any closer than perfect!
Allen Shoopman predicted Tennessee would defeat Arkansas 24-17, and that’s exactly what happened Saturday, October 10. His spot-on prediction earned him this week’s KnoxTNToday Game Ball and a Dinner for Two at Aubrey’s.
Shoopman becomes the first reader this season to correctly predict both teams’ final scores.
Beat the Writers
The KnoxTNToday writers couldn’t match Shoopman’s perfect prediction, although Marvin West came closest.
West predicted Tennessee 21, Arkansas 10, missing the final score by a combined 10 points. Thomas Mabry was next closest with a 31-22 prediction, 12 points off.
