Joy Gaertner and her colleague, Chelsi Moran, are conducting a free grief workshop, Walking through the Holidays with Joy, on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, 6-7:30 p.m. at Church of the Good Shepherd in Fountain City, 5409 Jacksboro Pike.
Gaertner and Moran, certified loss & grief recovery specialists, will help participants work toward managing loss and sadness through the holidays – an experience that most of us go through at some point in our lives.
They will also guide participants through creating a plan that maps out how to celebrate the holidays which may include ways to honor and remember losses; beginning new traditions; and incorporating self-care practices that can help take care of self during this busy season.
