Free Medical Clinic gets Food City gift

Food City celebrated National Pharmacist Day at the Oak Ridge Food City, 1199 Oak Ridge Turnpike, today with a donation of $2,500 to Free Medical Clinic of Oak Ridge.

Food City is honoring its dedicated team of over 250 Food City pharmacists.

Founded in 2009, the Free Medical Clinic of Oak Ridge provides no-charge primary and medical care for low-income and uninsured residents of Anderson, Morgan and Roane counties and for partners enrolled in their medical service program. Since its inception, the clinic has provided over 50,000 patient encounters and millions of dollars in primary and medical care to community members.
