Food City is continuing its commitment to helping local families by supporting two organizations working to fight food insecurity in the Knoxville community.
Following the recent fire at the Love Kitchen facility, Food City donated $1,000 in Food City gift cards to help replenish the organization’s food supply and support its ongoing mission of serving those in need.
Food City also recently presented a $10,000 donation to the Knox Haven Bread of Life Store in support of its Healthy Hearts Engagement Program (HHEP).

The Healthy Hearts Engagement Program is designed to help families move from dependence to independence by identifying and addressing the root causes of their challenges. The program is anchored by the Bread of Life Store, which plays an important role in helping combat food insecurity while providing families with resources and support to build a stronger future.
Through these contributions, Food City continues to invest in organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of East Tennessee residents, helping ensure neighbors have access to food and the support they need during difficult times.
