Food City is kicking off the weekend with plenty of Big Orange spirit as the Food City Big Orange Pep Rally comes to Powell on Friday, Oct. 2.
The free event will be held from 3-6 p.m. at Food City, 7350 Clinton Highway, giving Tennessee fans a chance to get ready for the Vols’ upcoming game against Auburn.
WIVK will broadcast live throughout the pep rally, which will feature appearances by the University of Tennessee cheerleaders, dance team and Smokey. Fans can also enjoy inflatables, refreshments and other activities.
There will be plenty of reasons to stick around. Attendees will have opportunities to win UT football tickets, parking passes, Food City gift cards and free fuel for a year. Participants must be present to win.
The first 100 attendees will also receive a commemorative Vols coin.
The Big Orange Pep Rally is part of Food City’s partnership with Tennessee Athletics as the Official Supermarket of the Tennessee Vols.
