All you racing fans, it’s time for the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway. The race will be on concrete this year, so NASCAR short-track racin’ is back. The race will be from 3:30-6 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Ticket information is here.

Make a weekend of it and come for the St. Patrick’s Day Party featuring the 1980s cover band Spank on Saturday, March 16. It’s a free concert at the Food City Fan Zone Stage. Wear your best St. Patrick’s outfit and prepare to sing the night away. Gets underway after the Weather Guard Truck Race.

NASCAR Trackside Live is a high-energy entertainment pre-race show that includes driver interviews with some of the top stars in the NASCAR Cup Series and plenty of antics and high-jinks from Kenny Wallace and John Roberts. Trackside Live will be held on the Food City Fan Zone Fan Stage in the Fan Zone from noon-1 p.m. on race day. Guests are:

  • Denny Hamlin

Pre-race ceremonies include music by The Breakfast Club. It’s free with your race tickets. Get a pre-race infield experience pass to be down front for the driver introductions and the concert. Pre-race concert DJ will be Sterl the Pearl.

Here is the assignment everyone: We are throwing it back to the early 1990s with our Spring Race Weekend so we need to see you in your best ’90s attire. Loud colors, big sunglasses, retro NASCAR T-shirts and jackets. Let’s see what you got!
