Flying Anvil founder is Jayne Morgan. The 125-seat theatre is off Northshore Drive in Rocky Hill. Morgan calls her instructors “creative and supportive, with decades of experience as professional performers, directors and teachers.”

The year-round children’s programming focuses on first-class training and performing opportunities, she said in a press release.

“Acting class teaches much more than acting skills. Putting a show together requires learning focus, cooperation, compassion, patience and how to work hard. It’s also a process filled with joy and discovery. Tight bonds are formed among cast members as they work together to solve problems and create an entertaining story. Students will also learn aspects of state management, production and design.”
