Farragut plans family winter programs

Do you have a 2024 resolution to have more family time? Try it with Farragut Community Center as they have developed a game plan for the whole family to learn and play together.

Several fun games the family can learn together are planned beginning Tuesday, January 2, 3:30-5:30 p.m. as the free Mahjong and Gaming Club, continues every other Tuesday.

Mahjong and Gaming Club participants will learn to play tile, board games and card games. There will be special classes to learn mahjong, tong-its, chess, checkers and other organized board games! Participants may bring their own games and snacks to share.

Now if games don’t interest you, try Technology 101 Mondays!

Technology 101 Mondays beginning Jan. 22-Feb. 26, 4-5 p.m. for ages 10 and up. Join to learn more about technology and smart devices, covering everything from smart phones, computers, Microsoft office, the internet and more!

The free class will be geared toward the skill level of attendees. No prior knowledge is needed. *Preregistration is required. Register by calling Farragut Community Center at 865-218-3376.
