The Farragut Museum, located at Farragut Town Hall, is always free and open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Now it also will be open on each third Sunday – 1:30-3:30 p.m. July 15, Aug. 19 and Sept. 16; and 4:30-6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, in conjunction with the Admiral Farragut presentation.
Farragut Town Hall is located at 11408 Municipal Center Drive. The Farragut Museum maintains a remarkable collection of artifacts from the area, including an extensive collection of the personal belongings of Admiral David Glasgow Farragut, first admiral of the U.S. Navy and hero of the Civil War.
