Eugenia Williams House and History Tours open

Susan EspirituWest Knox County

The Eugenia Williams House on Lyons View Pike was built in 1941 on 24 acres overlooking the Tennessee River where she lived alone for over 40 years. When Ms. Williams passed away in 1998 at the age of 98, she donated the estate to the University of Tennessee in honor of her father, Dr. David H. Williams.

In 2020, the Aslan Foundation purchased the property from the university to restore it as a community asset and make it completely open to the public by 2025.

The Aslan Foundation is now giving tours twice a month. Tours are free, but you have to sign up in advance. Eugenia Williams House Tours.
