On Friday, March 31, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the students at East Knox Elementary will be learning from YOU, but will you be there! They need you at the school to show off what you do out here is this big ole world.

Recently, West Hills Elementary had over 40 workforce professionals demonstrate how the world works from mobile jobs like firefighters and animal grooming to inside jobs like doctors and engineers. East Knox needs to show up the same for these youngsters! Let the school counselor, Patricia Lulu-Mayes, know how you can help by calling the school at 865-933-3493. Go Cougars!

Easter Egg Hunt

Hopewell Church in Mascot is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for students of East Knox County Elementary School and other neighborhood kids. It is Saturday, April 8, starting at 2 p.m. The event will be on the athletic field at the school (where the East Knox field day is held).

In addition to the Easter Egg Hunt, the church will be serving hot dogs, chips and drinks. You can also snap an Easter family photo in front of the spring photo backdrop! Children are encouraged to bring a basket or bag to collect their eggs.
