Dunn rules out race for Congress

Sandra ClarkGossip and Lies

Speaking in Powell on Tuesday, state Rep. Bill Dunn discounted speculation that he might run for Congress. I wasn’t taking notes, but he seemed to say, “Why, you’d have to be crazy to do that!”

Several of us are trying to get Dunn in a canoe on Beaver Creek, using his big saw to slice up trees that are obstructing canoes and kayaks. He’s willing but concerned about the balancing act of standing in a canoe while using a chain saw. “Call it term limits, Bill,” someone said.

Apologies for the brevity. We’re publishing a mailer for South Knox and Fountain City (coming to a mailbox near you on Aug. 16). I’d forgotten how tedious it is to make all those moving parts fit together on a page. Eleven pages down, one to go. Outta here!
