After 16 years as principal at Gresham Middle School, Donna Parker has been appointed secondary staffing supervisor effective July 2022.
Parker joined Knox County Schools in 1993 through a yearlong internship with the University of Tennessee at Fountain City Elementary School. She taught at Carter Middle and Gresham Middle schools before joining the administrative team at Whittle Springs Middle in 2004 as an assistant principal. She was named principal of Gresham Middle School in 2006, a position that she currently holds.
Parker received a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, both from the University of Tennessee, as well as an education specialist degree in administration and supervision from Lincoln Memorial University.
