Tequila Amigos at 4824 Harvest Mill Way in Fountain City was this week’s unexpected gem. The customary Mexican restaurant menu with pages of choices can be overwhelming, but Amigos solved the issue with well-defined categories, so if you vaguely know what you want, it is easy to find it.
The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was exceptionally clean and welcoming.
This duo always starts with salsa, cheese dip, and chips, which sets the palate for the entrée.
Duo One ordered the Shrimp Fajita Quesadilla, which came with sautéed onions, green peppers, cheese, Pico de Gallo, sour cream, and guacamole. Every bite was delicious, as evidenced by the totally clean plate at the finish.
Duo Two ordered a chicken chimichanga, calling it the ‘go to’ when comparing Mexican restaurants. DT said, “I would definitely order it again. It was delicious!”
Tequila Amigos is open every day from 11 a.m. -10 p.m., except Friday and Saturday, when they pull the full 12 hours, staying open till 11 p.m.
