The annual Daylily Bloom Festival at Oakes Farm in Corryton will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday, June 28-2,. rain or shine. Admission is free, but a related wine-tasting event has a $10 cost.
Oakes will have more than 1,000 daylily varieties in full bloom on a six-acre display. The festival draws regional visitors. It includes live music, a kids’ tent and free refreshments with lunch available for purchase. Leashed dogs are welcome. And there is a free daylily for every guest.
