Dalton Collision brings 27 jobs to North Knox County

Dalton Collision has officially opened at 718 E. Emory Road between Halls and Powell.

Owner Jerry Dalton provided lunch for his staff and neighboring businesses as the Knoxville Chamber hosted a ribbon-cutting at noon Feb. 15.

Dalton said he will employ 27 people in the new location, his second. The original Dalton Collision has been in business for more than 25 years at 355 Rutledge Pike in Blaine. “We have been an I-Car Gold Class Shop since 1998, longer than any current shop in Tennessee,” he said on the company’s website.

Dalton handles collision repair for most manufacturers and works with most major insurance carriers. Both locations are open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 9 a.m.-noon on Saturdays. Info: 865-938-9818 or website.
