  • Bird Banding at Ijams Nature Center6:30–11 a.m., Ijams Nature Center, 2915 Island Home Ave. Participants can observe bird-banding work during this morning nature program; RSVP is required.
  • Knoxville Symphony at the Garden5–9 p.m., Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum, 2743 Wimpole Ave. The event is free.
  • Girls of Yellow Diamonds7:30–9 p.m., Eugenia Williams House, 4848 Lyons View Pike. The Knoxville Opera Salon Series presents the performance in partnership with the Eugenia Williams House.
