Today’s Highlights
- All Over the Page Book Club meets at 6:30 p.m. at Lawson McGhee Library to discuss Weyward by Emilia Hart. New participants are welcome.
- LEGO Club meets from 5–7 p.m. at the Burlington Branch Library. Children in grades K–5 are invited to build, create, and explore with fellow LEGO enthusiasts.
- Summer reading programs and storytimes continue throughout the day at Knox County Public Library branches, offering activities for babies, preschoolers and young readers across the county.
- Knoxville Museum of Art. Explore and enjoy with free admission, and visitors can enjoy regional and contemporary exhibitions while escaping the summer heat. The museum is open Monday and is located in World’s Fair Park.
- Zoo Knoxville is the place to spend the day. Summer is one of the best times to visit the zoo, with animal encounters, keeper chats, and family-friendly exhibits available throughout the day. Zoo Knoxville.

July Outdoor Concert Series: The Downtown Maryville Alliance announces the launch of a free, outdoor concert series coming to the Charles West Amphitheater in Jack Greene Park each Thursday during the months of June and July 2026. This inaugural season will feature an exciting lineup of regional and national talent, bringing live music to downtown Maryville each Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Below are the dates and performers: July 16 – Cedric Burnside, July 23 – J & The Causeways, July 30 – Wyatt Ellis.
