Last week wrapped up the end of summer and I am excited about the cooler temperatures. During the week of September 18-22, we recorded 1,263 documents. On the lending side of things, 258 Trust Deeds (loans) were recorded with a total value of $62.45 million.

The largest mortgage of the week valued at $4.1 million was backed by CHC TN LLC. There were two other loans recorded worth over a million dollars. SmartBank backed a loan for $2.94 million and First Bank of Alabama funded a loan for $1.16.

As for property transfers, we recorded 197 Warranty Deeds with a cumulative value of $75.36 million. Six of these were priced at $1 million or more. The most valuable transfer of the week was the Jim Cogdill Dodge property at 8544 Kingston Pike. TN Real Estate LLC purchased the parcel for $5.5 million.

The second largest warranty deed of the week was recorded on Castle Terrace Apartments off of Dutch Valley. The property at 4121 Whistlers Way sold for $4.025 million.

The parcels at 8808, 8812 and 8814 Kingston Pike sold for $2.6 million

For the last notable transfer of the week, we go back to Kingston Pike to another well-known area in Knoxville. The three parcels consisting of 8808, 8812 and 8814 transferred for a total of $2.6 million. These encompass the land that consists of Line-X of Knoxville, Service King and Knoxville Powersports.
