Abigail Disney is warning about low pay for Disney workers: “Cinderella is sleeping in her car!”

She’s just some young rebel, perhaps, but no. The Disney Studio, founded by her uncle Walt and her grandfather Roy, is almost 100 years old. And the whippersnapper Abigail is 62.

Writing in Yahoo Entertainment 9/22/22, Ethan Alter reviews her new documentary, The American Dream and Other Fairy Tales. Co-directed by Abigail Disney and Kathleen Hughes, the movie — which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and arrived on VOD on Sept. 23 — profiles some of the employees who work at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, and are having trouble staying financially afloat even as the theme parks see record profits, Alter writes.

Knox TN Today: Here’s our Friday wrap on stuff we found interesting this week. This was a hectic week, getting our newspaper printed and delivered to the downtown post office. Sweating and red-faced, I loaded crates holding 200 papers each onto a skid. A guy whose shirt said Joe asked if we didn’t have any younger people for that task. “I’m trying to prove a point,” I said. And he helped me push the skid up the ramp. Thanks, Joe!
