Chiu joins Pilot Co.

James Chiu has been promoted at Pilot Company to senior director of strategy and execution, reporting to CEO Shameek Konar. In 2018, Chiu joined Pilot Energy in Houston. Previous roles in origination, investments and mergers and acquisitions for Morgan Stanley & Co., Mercuria Energy Group and Castleton Commodities International took Chiu to multiple cities around the world, including New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, London, Beijing and Geneva. As part of this change, Chiu and his wife, Chris, relocated to Knoxville, where the company is based.

Knox County Senior Centers will re-open at their regularly scheduled hours beginning Monday, April 5, though programming will be limited by Covid-19 restrictions. Activities will include classes, arts and crafts groups, trivia and book clubs. Computer labs and equipment in fitness rooms will be available. Exercise classes will resume as instructors become available. Virtual programs will continue. A full listing is here.

Covid vaccine registration will be changed from wait list to direct registration on April 5 by the Knox County Health Department. Those on the wait list will be scheduled, said Kaylee Coffman of KCHD, and the wait list option has been removed from the website. Info here.
