The AAU Junior Olympics is in full swing in Des Moines, Iowa. The first athlete competing for Knoxville Youth Athletics was Farragut High School’s Chase McAvoy, the team’s lone decathlete.
Chase finished 9th after competing in a total of 10 events, going for the highest possible score against 35 other male athletes from around the nation.
