The public is invited to celebrate nearly 100 local artists and their works Friday, Dec. 3, from 5-9 p.m. at the Emporium Center, 100 S. Gay Street in downtown Knoxville. For First Friday, the Arts & Culture Alliance proudly presents its 2021 Members Show, the largest annual exhibition of local artists in the Greater Knoxville area.

The fresh mix of two- and three-dimensional works created within the last two years encompasses a wide variety of media such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, mixed media, photography, fine craft, sculpture, ceramics, fiber, and more from regional artists who are all individual members of the Arts & Culture Alliance, which serves and supports a diverse community of artists, arts organizations, and cultural institutions.

This exhibition is on display Dec. 3-23. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. and Saturdays (Dec. 4 and 11 only), 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Please note, the Emporium will be closed Dec. 24 through Jan. 2.

Also, be on the lookout for the ArtWalk flags outside of participating downtown First Friday venues. First Friday happenings are detailed here, including exhibitions, music, performances, culinary arts and public art.

But, wait! There’s more! You can also enjoy the 48th Annual WIVK Christmas Parade at 7 p.m.
