Larry “Bud” Ogle, 70, of Gatlinburg, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021. According to his obituary, Bud Ogle began working in the family business at age 8. He joined fulltime after graduation from Gatlinburg Pittman High School in 1968, managing the family’s motels and promoting the growth of tourism in Sevier County. He served on many boards and was active at First Baptist Church in Gatlinburg. He was married to Cindy Cameron Ogle, the city manager of Gatlinburg. Additional obituary info here.
