Updated 1/28/2022: Attorney Travis L. Brasfield contacted Knox TN Today columnist Betty Bean today to say that after serious consideration he will NOT be a candidate for Knox County sheriff in 2022. Bean first mentioned the possibility in this column which received considerable attention. Brasfield said his law practice is growing and he can’t both be a lawyer and run for sheriff.
