Join The Book Whisperer (ME) for a literary adventure July 19-29, 2027 on the Rhine River. We begin with a private literary-focused tour of Amsterdam, July 19-22, before boarding the AmaLucia to sail the Rhine River, July 22-29, 2027.
AmaWaterways’ Captivating Rhine , a 7-night cruise on the AmaLucia, carries you from historic Amsterdam through the UNESCO World Heritage Rhine Gorge, where castle-crowned hills rise above the water. Hike amid the vineyards of Germany’s Kaiserstuhl, stroll along Heidelberg’s Philosopher’s Path, and bicycle in the Black Forest’s wine country. Marvel at Cologne’s Cathedral and soak in the charm of Strasbourg’s La Petite France, all while enjoying high-quality food with local wines and beers.
Before embarking on the trip in 2027, we will learn more about Amsterdam and the cities and towns along the Rhine River by researching the history, people and culture of the region and reading great books together.
