Food City Powell will be hosting the first Big Orange Pep Rally of the season 3-6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7. The Food City smoker also will be in Powell this weekend, selling pork cooked on-site as well as baked potatoes.
The Pep Rally is a family-friendly event with free food and fun for all ages. Look for inflatables, coloring contests, face painting and more for kids! There will be free hot dogs, free Coca-Cola, and free Mayfield ice cream for everyone in attendance.
WIVK Radio will do giveaways every 30 minutes, including UT football tickets. Each person can register once and may obtain one additional entry with a $20 Food City purchase (must have receipt dated for 09/07.)
More than 25 local businesses will support the event. Everyone is invited.
