The Town of Farragut is partnering with First Watch restaurant to raise funds for a permanent stage at Founders Park at Campbell Station, 405 N. Campbell Station Road.
Town staff will sell elf hats ($3) and glow necklaces ($1) during Countdown to Light the Park to raise money for the project. First Watch is celebrating its fifth anniversary by matching up to $5,000 donated for the stage.
Countdown to Light the Park starts at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at Founders Park. At 6:30 p.m. the mayor will flip a giant switch, lighting the park with tens of thousands of lights. Several vendors will be present. Construction of a permanent stage in the northwest corner of the green at Founders Park is expected to begin in spring 2019.
