Knoxville business and civic leader Brenda Moore McSpadden, 74, passed away on July 28, 2022.
A Virginia native, she graduated from Lincoln Memorial University and obtained a master’s degree from East Tennessee State University. She worked as a Realtor for 45 years, but her true heart was for serving others.
A friend, Jessica Dykes McGee, posted: My husband, Terrill, and I met Brenda at an Open House for a property. We immediately hit if off. We became friends to have lunch, look at homes, chit chat etc. … She never failed to mention her family and when they would be together. She was a beauty inside and out. She will be missed by so many. The world has lost an angel.
According to her obituary, she dedicated countless hours to The Dogwood Arts Festival (co-chair 2006), Dream Connection and Fantasy of Trees. Services will be held today (08/02) at Marble Hall in Lakeshore Park, with receiving of friends and family from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and the celebration of life to follow.
