Friends of Bearden Middle School teacher Anna Elliott planned a reception for her today (5/17) from 4-6 p.m. at the school library.
“Anna Elliott is one of the kindest people you will ever meet,” said assistant principal Cathy Woodby. “The BMS family has been so fortunate to know her!”
Elliott has served as school secretary at Bearden for 30 years. Mary Martin, enrichment coordinator for the school’s PTA, said the students, staff and parents will miss Elliott’s welcoming smile and dependability to do whatever is asked.
After her official last day, May 25, Elliott plans to spend time with family, cooking their favorite meals. She is looking forward to not living by a clock.
