Football season is right around the corner, and Zoo Knoxville is getting into the Big Orange spirit with All Vol Day on Saturday, Aug. 22.
The two-hour celebration runs from 10 a.m.-noon at the zoo, 3500 Knoxville Zoo Drive, and offers plenty of ways for Tennessee fans of all ages to kick off the season.
Visitors can join a Rocky Top Dance Party, take part in Vol-themed activities and stop for special photo opportunities. Orange, of course, is highly encouraged.
There is also a game-day deal for fans who arrive dressed for the occasion. Visitors wearing Tennessee Vols apparel can receive buy-one, get-one-free general admission. The special admission offer cannot be purchased online and is available only in person at the zoo ticket counter.
All All Vol Day activities are included with regular zoo admission and are free for Zoo Knoxville members.
Between the animals, activities and plenty of Tennessee spirit, it is an opportunity for families to enjoy a Saturday morning at the zoo while getting ready for another season of Vol football.
So pull out the orange, practice your “Rocky Top” and get ready to kick off football season with some of Zoo Knoxville’s wildest fans.
